KCN has helped DCN with a coating in signal orange pure, so that the diving bell lasts longer (anti-corrosion and impact resistant), but also to provide just that little bit of extra insulation, allowing the diving bell to stay underwater a bit longer. On complex jobs like those DCN performs, every minute is valuable, so that coating is certainly not unnecessary!
