Since 1984, the family business Hart Beach Surfschool and Surfshop has been located on the Vissershavenweg in Scheveningen.

And as of now, they are also located right on the Scheveningen beach itself! Everything is in place to confidently say that this is a professional company that doesn’t let the grass grow under its feet.

We had the opportunity to provide the sanitary facilities (changing rooms, toilets, and showers) of this surf school with a seamless coating.
Every day, surfer dudes and dudettes naturally drag in loads of sand (see photos) when they come in to shower and change after their surf lessons. The only solution to get these areas clean every day is simply to thoroughly clean all these spaces with a high-pressure washer and plenty of fresh water. That’s now possible, since all the floors, walls, and ceilings have been seamlessly coated with a grey (floor) and a white (walls and ceiling) coating.

We finished the walls in such a way that the grain of the wooden walls still shows through the coating, which is also reflected in the interior of the beach pavilion itself. This adds just that little bit of atmosphere and style to a space that is mainly intended for practical reasons. Everything connects seamlessly, so we can say that the space is completely water- and dirt-proof!

This location is definitely worth a visit in spring or summer. A truly laid-back ‘surfer hangout’ to chill with a spacious, stylish terrace and very friendly staff. I highly recommend the fair trade cappuccino and the hamburgers! :)
